2026/27 Special Education Paraprofessional (FHS)
Fayetteville Public Schools – Fayetteville High School, Fayetteville, Arkansas
This position is a 180‑day contract supporting students in a Structured Learning Services setting (1:15). The role involves assisting with academic instruction, adaptive behavior, and daily living skills for students with disabilities. The paraprofessional follows teacher direction, maintains a consistent structured environment, and collaborates effectively with the instructional team.
Qualifications:
- At least 60 college credit hours or a passing score on the Paraprofessional PRAXIS exam
- Experience working with students with disabilities
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to follow teacher direction and provide consistent support
Position Details:
- Step 6-10 (Based on Experience)
- Range 26 or 27 (Based on Education)
- 7.5 hours/day
- Full‑time, 180‑day contract
