Summary ofJob Duties
Autism Peer mentors meet with students enrolled in the Autism Support Program to provide assistance in social skills and navigating the university campus. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
- Current and continuing University of Arkansas undergraduate students
- Demonstrate excellent social skills
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills
- Skilled in-person meetings
- Provide positive and constructive feedback
- Ability to work and interest in working with students who have autism
Salary Information: $12.00/ hour
