About the job Process Engineer Water Treatment Lead This position will be responsible for leading a wide array of design tasks related to water facilities, such as:
- Lead drinking water process evaluations, selections, and implementation
- Lead detail design of drinking water treatment processes including:
- Conventional treatment processes such as, and sedimentation basins
- Conventional and advanced filtration
- Membrane systems
- Conventional and advanced disinfection systems
- Pump selection and pump station design
- Chemical storage and feed system design
- Piping and instrumentation drawing production
- Specification and contract document preparation
- Support of construction projects
- Oversee the development of construction drawings, and 3D models
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree incivil, environmental, chemical, mechanical, or biosystems/biological engineering. (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of direct design experience with municipal water plants.
