Design Resource Technician – Fayetteville, AR
For the last six decades, Garver has been designing projects for more than 250 aviation clients. Garver's Aviation Design Center is dedicated to providing the expertise and leadership to assist our clients in meeting current and future needs.
Responsibilities- Developing and maintaining design resources and CAD standards for Garver's Aviation Business Line and provide technical and design support for projects related primarily to developing civil and electrical engineering designs and drawings for airport projects, including improvements to runways, taxiways, aprons, hangars, fuel farms, parking areas, terminal buildings, and other airport construction-related projects.
- Providing training and troubleshooting for Autodesk Civil 3D
- Developing and maintaining templates and details for use in plan production
- Quality program compliance: ensuring consistent delivery of quality products that adhere to Garver's standard
- Civil standards and tools development, procurement, and training
- Accurately complete drawings based on markups and detailed direction
- Able to adapt to frequently changing schedules and deadlines
- Collaborate with a diverse team of multiple engineering disciplines to meet their technological needs
- Analyze processes for efficiency and opportunity for improvement
- Minimum two years' experience using Autodesk software, including AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- High school diploma
- Some travel may be required
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience using Bluebeam and MS Office products, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Project and Outlook
- Strong teaching and coaching skills
