Onsite Chief Engineer

Seeking an experienced Onsite Station Chief Engineer to oversee the maintenance, operation, and improvement of a large commercial facility. This leadership role is responsible for managing facility maintenance projects, coordinating contractors and vendors, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining critical building systems including HVAC, boilers, chillers, and life safety equipment.

Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day facility operations and maintenance activities.
Plan, schedule, and track maintenance projects from start to completion.
Manage HVAC, mechanical, and building systems performance.
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and client stakeholders.
Monitor budgets, schedules, and project deliverables.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA requirements, and contract standards.
Prepare reports and communicate project status to management and clients.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent technical experience.
2-3 years of progressive management or facility operations experience.

Experience with estimating, scheduling, and project tracking.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to obtain required security clearances and pass pre-employment screening.

Preferred Qualifications
Government contracting experience.
OSHA 30 Certification.
EPA 608 Certification.

Experience with CMMS or maintenance management software.
Advanced knowledge of HVAC, boilers, chillers, and building systems.
