Summary
Project managers are the first point of contact for any issues or discrepancies arising within the heads of various departments. This position will be responsible for water/wastewater projects across Arkansas. The Project Manager manages the development, implementation, and evaluation of complex designs and approves changes that substantially impact the scope, budget, or schedule of a project. The Project Manager monitors progress and performance against the project plan and provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
Mentoring entry- and mid-level engineers within the department, this position is also responsible for developing the project budget.
Responsibilities
- Planning, development, implementation, and evaluation with the management of a wide variety of projects
- Resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments
- Maintain the progress, mutual interaction, and tasks of various parties in such a way that reduces the risk of overall failure, maximizes benefits, and minimizes costs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related engineering field
- Knowledge of regulations, policies, and procedures
- Thorough understanding of water and wastewater systems
- Exercising independent judgment

- Microsoft Office
- Candidates must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy.
Preferred
- 5 years of design experience
Travel
- Most travel is limited to short or day trips to visit job sites, meet clients, etc. Overnight trips are generally not required.
