Position: Sr. Project Manager / Professional Civil Engineer - Water and Wastewater: 4917 HYBRID

Halff has an immediate opening for a Water and Wastewater Senior Project Manager in our growing Fayetteville, AR location.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for overseeing complex projects; ensuring projects remain on schedule and within appropriate timelines and allocated budget, while also leading technical staff and fostering valuable client relationships. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing a balance of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. Relocation bonus provided for qualified candidates.

What you will do:
  • Proficient with conducting studies, preparing reports, and reading/developing construction plans and specifications
  • Ability to manage and work collaboratively with multi-discipline teams and subconsultants
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate project deliverables, manage project budgets and schedule, and identify resolution of issues
  • Manage quality assurance and control analysis to ensure projects meet or exceed client expectations and Halff requirements, and comply with recognized standards and codes of practice
  • Support construction administration of projects and lead or assist permitting efforts
What you will need:
  • 6+ years of hands-on targeted experience providing support to Water/Wastewater Utility projects:
    Water/Wastewater treatment, pump stations, water storage, gravity/pressure sewer, waterlines
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in engineering, preferably civil, biological, or environmental
  • Licensed PE, preferably in Arkansas or can obtain within 6 months
  • Adept in project planning, execution and closure, ensuring regulatory compliance and overseeing quality assurance to mitigate potential risk to ensure project success
  • Proven track record of demonstrated experience of prioritizing and managing projects ranging in complexity
  • Maintain ongoing communication to support clients and act as primary point of contact, managing expectations to ensure client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal staff, ensuring every aspect of the project scope is aligned with standards and successful execution of the project plan
  • Facilitate communication and engagement with stakeholders, including client's regulation agencies and additional relevant parties
  • Ensure all projects adhere to relevant regulations and obtain necessary permits
Desired competencies:
  • Water/Wastewater treatment experience, is a plus
  • Experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS PRO, Info Water (or Water CAD, or Sewer CAD) is a plus

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
