Metric Geo is seeking a Lead or Senior Mechanical System Design Engineer for a fast-growing engineering and project management firm. This role offers the opportunity to lead mechanical design initiatives for industrial and food manufacturing facilities, with a focus on complex utility, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Key Responsibiliti

• esLead mechanical engineering design for utility, plumbing, HVAC, and process systems, particularly in food & beverage or industrial faciliti
• es Design and layout high- and low-pressure water, chilled water, steam, condensate, thermal fluid, compressed air, vacuum, and other utility syste
• ms Develop calculations, technical drawings (AutoCAD 2D), and 3D models (Revit) of mechanical syste
• ms Evaluate field conditions, collect data, and ensure design meets operational require men
• ts Mentor and guide other mechanical engineers within the te
• am Collaborate with clients, vendors, and cross-disciplinary engineers to achieve project objectiv
• es Ensure projects meet budgets, schedules, and quality standar
• ds Continuously improve processes through feedback and best practic

Required Experience & Qualificati

• ons Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineer
• ing Professional Engineer (PE) license prefer

  10–20 years of facility mechanical system design and engineering experie
• nce Strong knowledge of ASME codes, USDA/FDA/OSHA/ASHRAE standards, and industry best practi
• ces Proven ability to interpret specifications and technical documentation with attention to det
