We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team in a financial planning role exclusively serving ultra-high-net-worth families within our Family Office business unit. This position is ideal for a planning professional who enjoys solving complex financial challenges, collaborating across multiple disciplines, and fostering client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive financial plans incorporating retirement projections, cash flow modeling, insurance analysis, estate planning coordination, charitable strategies, and wealth transfer objectives. Exhibit critical thinking about client data and offer recommendations or alternate paths for an identified planning deficiency.
  • Planning Records & Files: Proactively update and maintain client net worth statements, entity maps, tax organizers, investment policy statements, etc.
  • Planning Implementation: Coordinate and monitor planning action items, ensuring recommendations progress from concept to execution. Demonstrate clear communication patterns in delegating tasks to other members of a client relationship team, showing proper awareness of higher stakes situations.
  • Planning Innovation: Continuously identify opportunities to improve planning processes, workflows, technology utilization, and the overall client experience.
  • Client Meetings: Participate in client meetings and progressively assume greater responsibility for meeting preparation, presentations, and client communication.
  • Relationship Support: Serve as a planning partner to Family Office Advisors, helping prepare for client meetings, develop recommendations, communicate planning concepts, and drive implementation.
  • Family Office Services: Partner with Family Office Advisors to support complex planning needs for ultra-high-net-worth families, including estate planning coordination, tax planning collaboration, liquidity planning, philanthropy, and multi-generational wealth transfer strategies.

    Collaboration:

    Work closely with designated client tax managers and CPAs to identify planning opportunities, model outcomes, and support implementation of strategies.
  • External Partner Coordination: Collaborate with attorneys, accountants, insurance professionals, trustees, and other outside advisors to support integrated client outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a financial planning role within an RIA, multi-family office, private bank, trust company, or related wealth management environment
  • One professional planning credential in good standing, including CFP®, CPWA®, TPCP™, or another comparable designation
  • Strong understanding of retirement planning, cash flow analysis, estate planning concepts, insurance planning, and wealth transfer strategies
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Impeccable attention to detail, confidentiality, and follow-through
  • Ability to prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks
Preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of estate planning, charitable planning, executive compensation, and business succession strategies
  • Experience collaborating directly with attorneys and tax professionals
  • Experience with Money Guide Pro, Holistiplan, Salesforce, Black Diamond, and/or Luminary
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex planning concepts in a clear and practical manner
