Summary of

Job Duties:

Under the direction of the Interim Director and with a high degree of autonomy in day-to-day operations, the Financial Analyst manages fiscal operations, payroll administration, budget development, and financial analysis and reporting for the Institute for Integrative and Innovative Research (I³R). The Analyst works with staff in the Office of the Senior Associate Vice Chancellor for Financial Affairs for assistance and guidance as needed.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education, at least two years of experience in accounting, reporting, and financial analysis, experience supporting financial operations through Workday. Applicable equivalencies may be considered on the above qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Business or Operations Management, experience with data mining techniques, experience with grant and gift financial reporting, experience working with complex databases, experience with the University of Arkansas financial and accounting processes.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Solid analytical skills and the ability to think strategically, strong collaborative and communication skills, strong presentation and interpersonal skills, ability to interpret and apply sponsor, donor, and university policies and procedures.

Additional Information:
This position is renewable annually based on continued need for the position, availability of funding, and satisfactory job performance. Salary Information: $80,000; commensurate with education and experience. Required Documents to Apply:
