Fayetteville Tech Repair Information Technology Department is seeking a dynamic and tech-savvy individual to join our IT team as an
End User Support Intern
. This entry-level position provides a unique opportunity for hands‑on experience in end user support, IT hardware configuration, and deployment within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The IT End User Support Intern will work closely with our IT professionals to ensure efficient and effective support for end users and contribute to hardware-related projects. Fayetteville Tech Repair Information Technology Department is seeking interns in different IT related areas.
and Responsibilities
- Assists in the setup, configuration, and deployment of IT hardware including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Provides first-level technical support to end users, addressing hardware and software issues.
- Collaborates with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems reported by end users.
- Installs and updates software applications on end user devices.
- Conducts hardware and software inventory management.
- Assists in documenting IT processes and troubleshooting procedures.
- Participates in IT projects related to hardware upgrades and technology rollouts.
- Delivers excellent customer service by responding promptly to user inquiries and providing timely resolutions.
- Basic understanding of application administration concepts.
- Familiarity with computer repairs, software installations, Windows Operating Systems, macOS, MS Office and similar applications is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Experience working in the public sector.
- Hands‑on experience in application administration and configuration.
- Enhanced communications and technical writing skills, particularly regarding end-users.
- Exposure to a variety of applications used in business processes.
- Mentorship and guidance from experienced IT professionals.
- Networking opportunities within the IT industry.
