Job Overview

Fleming Network Services NW – Fayetteville, AR 72701 – Full Time Technician Support Technician assisting network installation, configuration, and maintenance. Works directly with a Technician to install network hardware components, configure network software, identify and eliminate bottlenecks, troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensure secure operations, collaborate with IT team and management, perform upgrades, remove redundant cables, and assist with equipment set‑up. • Installing network hardware components and cables.
• Configuring network software.
• Identifying and eliminating bottlenecks to ensure long‑term network efficiency.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with the network.
• Ensuring the network operates securely.
• Collaborating with other members of the IT team and management.
• Performing necessary upgrades to the network infrastructure as needed.
• Identifying and removing old or redundant cables.
• Troubleshooting cable and network issues.
• Assisting with the setup of equipment, including televisions, routers, telephones, and computers.
• Troubleshooting cable and equipment malfunctions.
• Providing basic operating instructions.
• Completing job reports.
• Maintaining stock levels at the office and in the vehicle.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Clean background check and drug test.
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn quickly.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to work with no supervision.
• Knowledge of construction, electrical, fire, national and local building codes a plus.
• Physical demands include the employee to have the ability to lift and/or move 50 pounds unassisted.
• Agree to work in all types of environments such as indoors, outdoors, extreme heat or cold, environmentally uncontrolled sites, and around potentially dangerous construction equipment and/or materials.
• Ability to work nights and weekends, as needed on assigned projects.
