The Operations & Logistics Financial Analyst serves as the financial intelligence hub for Kärcher North America's(KNA) Fayetteville, AR distribution center and broader supply chain operations. This position is responsible for analyzing and explaining the cost drivers behind Freight, Logistics, Intralogistics, Distribution, and Packaging expenses - including their correlation with macroeconomic variables (commodity indices, fuel costs, exchange rates, carrier capacity dynamics) - while safeguarding financial statement accuracy through inventory oversight and reconciliations.
The role also provides analytical and process‑improvement support to the Supply Chain and Sourcing teams, and partners with the Trade Compliance function on tariff‑related process improvements and customs data quality.
- Financial Intelligence Hub: Own the monthly analysis of distribution, freight, intralogistics, and packaging expenses for KNA (US and Canada), tracking actuals vs. budget and narrating key variances to leadership.
- Predictive & Regression Modeling: Build and maintain predictive models correlating internal supply chain costs with external economic drivers like fuel indices, spot freight rates, commodity prices, and ocean container rates.
- Inventory Oversight & Compliance: Lead physical inventory counts and cycle count procedures at the Fayetteville distribution center, coordinate with external auditors, and ensure financial statement accuracy through account reconciliations.
- Cross‑Functional Sourcing Support: Partner with Supply Chain and Sourcing teams to financially model supplier negotiations, mode/carrier selections, 3PL transitions, and network optimization projects.
- Systems & Process Evolution: Participate in the S/4
HANA implementation by executing test scenarios and ensuring accurate master data migration, while streamlining finance procedures into documented SOPs.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Supply Chain Management; an MBA or postgraduate specialization in data analytics or supply chain is a plus. - Industry
Experience:
3–6 years of experience in cost accounting, supply chain finance, or financial analysis within a manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environment. - Analytical Horsepower: Demonstrated ability to build regression or correlation models, comfortable manipulating large data sets, and skilled at multi‑dimensional cost allocation.
- Technical Proficiency: Solid hands‑on proficiency with Excel is required, while experience with SAP (strongly preferred) and BI/reporting tools like Power BI is a major asset.
- Operational Readiness: Willingness to travel to the Fayetteville, AR distribution center at least once per quarter for inventory counts, audits, or project support.
