Area Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities

• Enhance order accuracy, delivery speed, and tracking visibility.
• Streamline picking, packing and shipping efficiency for a faster fulfillment process.
• Ensure on time delivery with the most cost effective measures.
• Leverage WMS and automation to improve efficiency.
• Support long term growth by ensuring our e‑commerce fulfillment is scalable, cost efficient and customer focused.
• Monitor and address shipping performance and delays with carriers.
• Analyze fulfillment process to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
• Utilize data to drive decision‑making and enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare and present regular reports on fulfillment performance, including key metrics related to order processing, shipping times, and inventory accuracy.
• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, implement improvements, and develop long‑term strategies for warehouse operations.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized and efficient.
• Find creative solutions that deliver a high level of customer satisfaction and financial efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in ecommerce, preferably in a warehouse/distribution center or logistics management.
• Experience with WMS (Körber), TMS, and other supply chain systems preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma certification a plus.
• Ability to make independent decisions and handle unexpected changes.
• Strong organizational skills including prioritizing tasks.
• Advanced analytical skills to improve processes.
• Clear and effective communication.
• Motivational spirit to lead a team, delegate tasks, and accomplish objectives.

• Employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to airborne particles.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually high; proper protective equipment is required.
