Description
Supply material and assistance to the Spinning Department in a timely manner to increase production efficiencies and overall productivity. Work in and promote a safe and healthy work environment. Monitor and maintain equipment and materials to manufacture a good fiberglass product.
- Provide the Spinning Department with supplies needed to run production.
- Train to obtain a clear understanding of the furnace application.
- Complete training on manufacturing instructions, LOTO, and JSA’s.
- Work is performed on 12‑hour rotating shifts, 7 days a week.
- Move and position glass hoppers as needed for furnace operations.
- Load materials into the glass elevator.
- Move finished product to designated location in the warehouse.
- Assist line in preparation of product changeovers.
- Wash and sweep floors, walls, rails, and ceiling, and perform other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
