Position Summary:
The position is responsible for monitoring transportation and storage of chickens to be processed. Facilitate production needs through cleaning and sanitation of processing equipment and area, monitor and reconcile inventory levels, and other duties. Priority consideration will be provided to internal applicants first. Applicants with previous agricultural or production experience will be considered preferred. Applicants must reside in the United States to be considered for an interview.
Starting wage - $18.00/hour Plus, additional shift differential for evenings, nights and weekends

- Follow SOPs for cleaning and sanitation.
- Drive a Cobb vehicle to monitor the transportation of pedigree product to be processed.
- Maintain offal building and equipment.
- Drive a Cobb vehicle to pick up or deliver supplies.
- Monitor equipment supply inventory.
- Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice, such as, comply to specific guidelines for specific R& D projects, deboning, or processing line.
- Be an approved Cobb vehicle driver.
- Communicate clear and concisely with farm staff, transportation staff, and vendors.
- Must be willing to sign and abide by the company Animal Welfare and Biosecurity guidelines.
- The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Physical:
Must use safe lifting techniques. Must regularly lift equipment that is 10-30 pounds. Required to use wheeled dollies to move up to 300 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand majority of shift (concrete floor); walk; sit; use left and right hands to grab/handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms;
balance; stoop; talk or hear. Must be able to grasp objects steadily. Must have full dexterity of left and right hand while using them simultaneously. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust focus.
- Requires use of hand tools such as permanent marker, scalpels, scissors, meat thermometers, knife, etc. and safe operation of vehicle to and from work area.
- Safety goggles and/or glasses, chemical gloves, waterproof apron, and rubber boots are required.
- Must wear company provided facial covering.
- NIOSH approved N95 particulate respirators and arm protectors may be worn as needed.
- Disinfectants.
- Team member is expected to follow all applicable safety policies and procedures. These include but are not limited to Hazard Communication, Respiratory Protection, LOTO and Personal Protective Equipment.
