Position Summary
Maynard Inc. is seeking an experienced Advanced CNC Maintenance & Repair Technician to support our high-precision manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing high-end CNC machine tools to ensure maximum uptime, accuracy, and reliability

Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and rebuilds on a wide range of CNC machine tools
, including multi-axis mills, lathes, and routers - Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems
- Execute machine alignments, calibrations, and precision adjustments
- Diagnose and repair PLCs, servos, spindles, ball screws, and motion systems
- Minimize downtime through fast, accurate troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
- Collaborate with operations and engineering to support equipment reliability and performance improvements
- Document maintenance activities and recommend long-term reliability and preventive improvements
Knowledge and Qualifications Required
- 5+ years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing high-end CNC machine tools (aerospace-grade experience strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated expertise in CNC diagnostics, schematics, and precision measurement
- Strong troubleshooting skills with tight-tolerance equipment and processes
- Ability to work independently
, manage priorities, and respond quickly to urgent issues - Resume must clearly list major CNC machine brands worked on (examples include Haas, DMG MORI, Okuma, Matsura, Fanuc, Nakamura-Tome

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing (e.g.,

) - Prior work in an ITAR-controlled facility
- OEM CNC maintenance or repair training and certifications
