About the roleOverview:
- To build highly automated, long-endurance UAV platforms capable of operating in the most demanding environments to support defense, security, infrastructure monitoring, disaster response, and other critical missions.

- Translate engineering technical drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) into digestible, detailed work instructions for manufacturing UAS components.
- Drive manufacturing process improvements focused on factory flow optimization and reduced build time.
- Work closely with QA/QC to deliver consistent, quality products to warfighters.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation in compliance with ISO 9001/AS9100 standards.
- Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability of new and existing products.
- Identify and implement tooling, fixturing, and process solutions to support production scaling.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action processes for manufacturing non-conformances.
- 2 years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or defense industries.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering technical drawings and BOMs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, cable drawings, mechanical part and assembly drawings
- Experience in UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) manufacturing.
- Experience working in an ISO 9001/AS9100 certified manufacturing facility.
- Experience working on Department of War (DoW) contracts.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with Altium or Solidworks
- Strong background in one or multiple of the following: composite manufacturing, machining, cable and pcb manufacturing, mechanical assembly
- J-STD-001 soldering certified
- Detail focused with the ability to manage large Bills of Materials
- Communication skills and ability to train hands on manufacturing processes
- Teamwork and collaboration with production technicians
- Time management with ability to balance multiple priorities

- Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week with core hours of 9 am to 3 pm
- Up to 10% travel needed to CONUS and OCONUS production facilities and suppliers
