Licensed Practical Nurse LPN; UC

Overview

The Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse is responsible for providing direct or indirect nursing care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems; utilizes knowledge of basic nursing principles, practices and ethics; participates in the organization and management of the physicians' practice.

• Solicit information regarding the nature of the patients visit; observe and record vital signs
• Set up as directed for procedures and exams; assist physician as needed
• Perform EKGs, vision, and hearing screens, nebulizer treatments, change dressing, remove suture and staples as needed
• Perform lab tests as directed

• Graduation certificate from accredited LPN school of nursing
• 12 – 18 months related experience and/or training
• LPN License
• Bilingual, preferred
• EMR Experience, preferred
• Prior Urgent Care experience, preferred

MANA Urgent Care provides medical care to Northwest Arkansas seven days a week from 7 am to 7 pm at two locations in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Our Urgent Care clinics offer a convenient, less costly alternative to the emergency room when you need medical care fast.
