LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) – HIGHLAND HOUSE

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus.

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a supportive environment.

• Assist in the direction of nursing services for the unit/hall in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Delegate duties to professional nurses and non‑professional nursing personnel and monitor work performance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Observe patients for symptoms and/or reactions, including general physical and/or mental condition, for signs indicative of adverse change.
• Assist with notifying attending physician of emergencies and the death of patients in the unit.
• Implement orders or changes in orders as instructed or ordered by physicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school graduate.
• Licensed Practical Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing and proof of license renewal submitted every other year.
• Willing to work as charge nurse and cover during emergencies as needed.
• Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients, follow doctors’ orders, and demonstrate genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
• CPR certified yearly.
• Attend in‑service training and other staff meetings as required.
• Background checks and drug‑free workplace compliance.
