LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE – WOODLANDS NURSING AND REHABILITATION CENTER

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity in a caring environment.

• Assist in the direction of nursing services for the unit/hall in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Delegate duties to professional nurses and non‑professional nursing personnel and monitor work performance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Observe patients for symptoms and/or reactions, including general physical and mental condition for signs indicative of adverse change.
• Assist with notifying attending physicians of emergencies and death of patients in the unit.
• Implement changes in orders as instructed or ordered by physicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school graduate.
• Licensed Practical Nurse, graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing and submit proof of license renewal every other year.
• Willingness to work as charge nurse and during emergencies to assure adequate coverage.
• Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients, follow doctors’ orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
• CPR certified yearly.
• Attend in‑service training and other staff meetings as required.
• Background checks and drug‑free workplace required.
