The Registered Nurse in the Telemetry Department works night shifts from 1830 to 0700, providing safe, therapeutic, and compassionate patient care. They utilize the nursing process, demonstrate clinical competence and critical thinking, and follow departmental policies to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications include being a new RN graduate or in good standing, licensed in Arkansas, with a preference for a BSN. The RN applies foundational skills, collaborates effectively within an interdisciplinary team, and participates in organizational workflows. Basic healthcare CPR is required; additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, or NALS may be needed depending on the unit, with training provided. Specialty units offer specific education.
This position is authorized for 72 hours bi‑weekly. The RN is not currently enrolled in the Clinical Nurse Advancement Program.
