Summary ofJob Duties
The Seasonal Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the appearance of outdoor areas throughout Campus from April through September. This includes mowing lawns, weed eating, cleaning flower beds, and using a blower to clear sidewalks and other walkways. The position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently outdoors in various weather conditions. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Minimum Qualifications- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to effectively communicate to be able to perform job duties
- Prior experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or related field
- Valid Driver's License in good standing
- At least one year experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or related field
- Knowledge of the use of push mowers, riding lawn mowers, weed eaters
- Ability to operate push mowers, riding lawn mowers, weed eaters
- Ability to work independently without close supervision
- Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and to prioritize assignments
- Ability to perform repetitive manual work
- Ability to do required lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
Salary Information: $15 per hour
