Powerwell is a leading recruitment firm helping our clients discover top talent. We’re recruiting for a Quality Control Technician position, which is fully onsite in Saline, MI. An attendance bonus program is available.

Work Schedule:

This role offers three rotating work schedules (B Shift, C Shift, D Shift), alternating every other week with the following days and times:

  • B Shift: First Week:
    Mon-Tue 12:00pm-6:15pm;
    Sat-Sun 6:00am-6:15pm. Alternate Week:
    Mon-Tue 12:00pm-6:15pm;
    Thu-Fri 6:00am-6:15pm.
  • C Shift: First Week:
    Mon-Tue 6:00pm-12:15am;
    Thu-Fri 6:00pm-6:15am. Alternate Week:
    Mon-Tue 6:00pm-12:15am;
    Sat-Sun 6:00pm-6:15am.
  • D Shift: First Week:
    Mon-Tue 12:00am-6:15am;
    Sat-Sun 6:00pm-6:15am. Alternate Week:
    Mon-Tue 12:00am-6:15am;
    Thu-Fri 6:00pm-6:15am.
Your Role:
What You'll Do

As a Quality Control Technician, you'll ensure our products meet industry standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining First Article parts and Visual Acceptance Standards (VAS).
  • Updating process control documents with engineering support.
  • Conducting dimensional inspections with precision tools.
  • Performing internal audits and communicating results.
  • Conducting receiving inspections and supplier audits.
  • Training and guiding production staff on quality standards.
  • Supporting engineering projects and tool trials.
  • Resolving customer and supplier quality issues.
  • Promoting workplace safety and organization (5S).
  • Representing quality internally and externally.
What We're Looking For:
  • Education:

    An associate degree is preferred; experience in quality inspection (plastic injection molding) is acceptable.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, check fixtures, digital cameras.
  • Attention to Detail:
    Strong inspection and documentation skills.
  • Communication:
    Clear verbal and written skills.
  • Software:
    Familiarity with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Teamwork:
    Ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Flexibility:
    Willingness to work overtime and rotating shifts.
