The freezer, cooler, and deli stocker role supports stocking, merchandising, and customer service in the freezer, cooler, and deli areas. You will help maintain sanitary conditions of freezer and cooler spaces, and assist customers as needed in the deli department.

• Maintain safety of the facility by following safety standards, procedures, and guidelines; conduct safety sweeps; follow forklift spotting procedures; handle and dispose of hazardous materials properly; correct or report unsafe situations to management.
• Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area by handling claims and returns; zone the area; receive, stock, and display merchandise; clean and organize product displays; remove damaged goods; price and tag merchandise; complete required audits and documentation; secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
• Provide member service by acknowledging the member, identifying needs, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving issues; promote the company’s products and services.
• Follow company policies related to the Freezer/Cooler area by complying with food handling policies; operate, repair, and sanitize equipment; follow cold chain procedures when stocking merchandise; clean the freezer/cooler/deli area; monitor fans, drains, and doors; report issues to management.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area.

Programs range from high school completion to bachelor s degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are paid for by Walmart. The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
