Overview

Part‑Time HP Retail Sales Associate – Work up to 15 hours per week, primarily Saturdays and Sundays, with flexible Friday availability. This role focuses on driving sales and creating buzz around the HP brand and products in Best Buy and surrounding office supply stores.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate HP products to customers, tailoring demonstrations to their specific needs.
  • Engage customers and build rapport to create a memorable shopping experience.
  • Maintain professional relationships with store management and staff.
  • Train in‑store associates on HP products and services.
  • Keep displays clean, functional, and demo‑ready.
  • Provide sales and competitive reporting.
  • Sell HP products and services in a retail, kiosk, or event environment.
  • Welcome customers and offer assistance courteously.
  • Direct customers to displays, assess needs, and suggest appropriate products.
  • Advise customers by providing product and service information.
  • Assist customers in selecting products by building confidence.
  • Accurately document and report sales.
  • Track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable workstation/kiosk at all times.
  • Submit all required paperwork completely and accurately.
Performance Measurements
  • Regular and prompt attendance.
  • Meet established monthly/weekly sales quota and goals.
  • Customer/client satisfaction measured by rejection percentage and substantiated complaints.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum six (6) months of sales, retail, telecom, or marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HP products and services.
  • Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
  • Tech‑savvy, outgoing personality with a passion for problem solving and learning.
