The Retail Sales Clerk is a full-time, on-site role based in Fort Smith, AR. This position is responsible for greeting customers, understanding their needs, and providing product recommendations to support an efficient and positive shopping experience. Day-to-day tasks include processing sales transactions, handling returns and exchanges, stocking and organizing merchandise, and maintaining clean, orderly sales floors and displays. The Retail Sales Clerk will answer customer questions, share accurate product information, and communicate store promotions while following all company policies and procedures.

This role also involves collaborating with team members to meet sales goals, completing basic inventory tasks, and supporting other store operations as needed.

• Strong Retail Sales and Sales abilities, with a focus on meeting customer needs and achieving store goals.
• Solid Product Knowledge and willingness to learn details about merchandise and store offerings.
• Effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Demonstrated Customer Service skills, including patience, professionalism, and problem-solving in a retail environment.
• Reliability and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Comfort with basic math and point-of-sale systems for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights for extended periods as part of daily store operations.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
