Territory Sales Manager
Position is responsible for representing the company to an assigned group of Independent Customers. The assignment is typically based on geographical locations, though multiple customers may exist in a single market. TSMs are managed by a sales manager serving local Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts stores. The role is based in Western Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma territory. Auto Parts knowledge strongly preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Creating and maintaining a positive working relationship between each customer and the company.
- Assist each customer with managing the assets of the customer’s business, with the largest responsibility being the ongoing management of inventory.
- Assist each customer with managing finances, including budgeting, payroll, and Profit & Loss reporting.
- Assist each customer with making sales calls in their respective marketplaces and establishing key accounts that could become BTB, CSC, or ACDelco TSS accounts.
- Serve as an advisor to customers on computer systems, store renovations, available store locations, competitors, and overall industry trends.
- Assist Sales Managers with special projects such as store moves and product changeovers.

QualificationsEducation and/or Experience – Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills – Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations; write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.
Mathematical Skills – Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume; apply basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability – Apply common sense to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions; solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills – Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations – Valid driver’s license and good driving record; ASE certifications a plus.
Physical DemandsRegular standing, walking, sitting, hand use, reaching, speaking, and hearing. Occasional climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Lifting up to 10 lbs regularly, up to 25 lbs frequently, and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Close vision required. Exposure to fumes, chemicals, weather, electrical shock, vibration, and moving mechanical parts. Moderate noise level.
