40 hours a week, 10 hour days (Day & Night shifts)

The Juvenile Detention Officer is responsible for the daily operation of the detention center. They provide a safe, secure, and caring environment for up to 36 juveniles ages 10-18. Officers work a scheduled shift and are on‑call as needed to accommodate sick calls and facility emergencies.
Required Qualifications- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and obtain and maintain federally mandated security clearances where required.
- Position is subject to pre-employment and reasonable suspicion testing and, if a promotional position, candidate must pass an assignment drug test.
