Role DescriptionThe Journeyman Industrial Electrical Foreman is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Fayetteville, AR. This role oversees industrial electrical crews, coordinates daily work assignments, and ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with codes and specifications. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting electrical plans, installing and maintaining electrical systems and wiring, supervising troubleshooting activities, and verifying the quality of all completed work.
The foreman also collaborates with project managers, communicates with clients and other trades, maintains material and tool inventories, and enforces safety procedures and company standards on the jobsite.
- Strong knowledge of electricity principles and industrial power distribution systems.
- Experience in electrical contracting, including managing projects and coordinating field crews.
- Background in electrical engineering concepts relevant to industrial installations and controls.
- Proficiency in electrical wiring, conduit installation, and panel terminations in industrial environments.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving electrical faults and equipment issues.
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license (state of Arkansas or ability to obtain) and demonstrated experience as a foreman or lead electrician.
- Thorough understanding of NEC, OSHA regulations, and relevant industrial safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Effective leadership, communication, and time management skills, with the ability to mentor and train team members.
- Reliable transportation, willingness to work on-site full time, and capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in varying industrial environments.
