We are seeking an Asphalt Plant Groundman to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of our asphalt production facility. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient plant environment while assisting with plant maintenance, material handling, and production support activities.#
** Responsibilities
* ** Perform general construction tasks throughout the asphalt plant, including loading and unloading materials, sweeping, shoveling, operating hand and power tools, and cleanup of materials and debris
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment
* Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
* Collaborate with site supervisors and other construction staff to ensure project success
* Drive innovation and continuous improvement in construction practices
* Other duties as assigned#
** Qualifications
* ** High school diploma or equivalent
* Experience in construction or related industry preferred
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and working in all weather conditions
* Basic math and measurement skills
