Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated operator to support our pipeline construction projects. This role involves operating heavy machinery such as but not limited to D6 and D8 Dozers, Side Booms, Excavators, and Skid Steers in various pipeline construction and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operated heavy equipment including but not limited to D6 and D8 Dozer, Side booms, Excavators, Forklift, Welding Tack Rig, and skid steers for pipeline construction and maintenance tasks.
  • Perform daily inspections of equipment, including checking fluids, greasing parts, blowing filters at the end of the day to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Following project plans and supervisor instructions to perform tasks such as trenching, grading, back filling, and lifting.
  • Maneuver equipment to safely load and unload materials or equipment at job sites.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors and other operators to ensure smooth and safe operations.
  • Adhere to all company and OSHA safety guidelines, participating in safety meetings and reporting any unsafe conditions or practices.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in construction or related field is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (80 - 100 lbs.) for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
  • Basic understanding of pipeline construction safety protocols.
  • A clean drug test
  • Reliable vehicle with current registration, external fuel cell, air compressor and grease gun.
