What you'll do...Role summary: The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, HVAC-Refrigeration, is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial settings. This role involves diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and performing preventive maintenance to optimize system performance. The Technician collaborates with management and team members to execute service plans, leads field teams, and supports operational needs across multiple locations.
Adherence to company policies, safety standards, and effective communication with customers and partners are essential to this position.

What you'll do:
- Install,configure,andcalibrateHVACandrefrigerationsystems,includingductwork,control panels,andbuildingpneumatics.
- Interpretlayoutplansandschematicstoensureaccuratesystemsetupandregulatorycompliance.
- Diagnoseandresolvemechanical,electrical,and refrigerant-relatedissuesincommercialandindustrialequipment.
- Performpreventivemaintenancetoextendequipmentlifeandminimizedowntime.
- Maintainandrepairrefrigerationunitssuchasracks,walk-ins,andreach-ins.
- Conductinspectionsandrepairsfollowingfederal,state,andlocalHVAC/Rsafetyprotocols.
- Leadandmentorfieldteamsontechnicalproceduresandsafetypractices.
- Manageservicecalls,coordinatewithexternalproviders,anddocumentrefrigerantusageaccurately.
- Operatecompanyvehiclessafelytocompleteserviceassignmentswithinassignedregions.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial or industrial settings.
- Strong ability to interpret layout plans, schematics, and building codes to ensure accurate system configuration.
- Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues and implementing preventive maintenance programs.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and EPA 608 refrigerant handling protocols.
- Skilled in operating heavy machinery and company vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Effective communication skills to explain technical issues and collaborate with customers and team members.
- Ability to lead field teams and mentor less-experienced technicians.
- Experience managing service calls, inventory tracking, and coordinating with external vendors.
