Field Service Technician

• Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively
• Service electromechanical equipment, including self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory
• Perform maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance work, and system overhauls
• Act as a first-line response to customers and communicate in an open, helpful, and engaging manner
• Organize and triage customer issues and proactively handle potential problems
• Complete formal training to provide customers with needed solutions
• Service or replace networking equipment such as access points or switches in retail environments

• Local candidate to specific geographic area
• Authorized to work in the US
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and driving record satisfying NCR fleet requirements
• PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiarity with specific hardware and operating systems
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to travel extensively, driving several hours per day
• Availability for rotating and weekend shifts
• Flexibility for morning, afternoon, and evening rotating shifts, including some holidays
• Ability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. without assistance and up to 150 lbs. with assistance
• Ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, work with hands, and repetitively grasp and manipulate objects
• Willingness to be trained on and operate small-scale scissor lifts

Demonstrates expertise in servicing electromechanical equipment and networking devices, with strong customer communication skills and the ability to perform maintenance and repairs effectively. Capable of managing customer issues proactively while adhering to safety and operational standards.
