- Level the top surface of poured concrete on roofs of commercial buildings
- Assist in the placement of poured concrete
- Use hand and power tools including bull float, hand float/darby, screeds, and float bars
- Ensure work is completed correctly by leading the Crew in making finish corrections
- Report to the Roof-Deck Foreman
- Prepare the equipment site and keep the area clean during the pumping process
- Monitor the speed of concrete application while equipment is in use
- Check finished products against specifications
- Monitor the effect of weather on concrete stages
- Recognize and report unsafe jobsite conditions
- Communicate with ground and roof team members
- Exhibit leadership skills to Crew members
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Assist with equipment maintenance when needed
- Perform other job-related tasks as requested by the Foreman
- Approximately 2 years of experience working with concrete
- Willingness to submit to a preemployment drug screening
- Familiarity with proper handling of materials and equipment
- Normal vision and hearing
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
- Ability to assist with maintenance of equipment when needed
- Communication skills
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Travel to various job sites, including 60%-70% weekday overnight travel
- Ability to individually lift, push, or pull materials and heavy equipment up to 100 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Good manual dexterity to climb around equipment and job sites
- Ability to work at heights and access heights from a ladder
- Enjoyment of working outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to work occasional weekend days
- 90-day probationary period
Demonstrates expertise in concrete placement and finishing, with strong leadership skills to guide crew members and ensure compliance with safety standards. Proficient in using hand and power tools for concrete work while maintaining effective communication with team members.
