IDD Shared Living Consultant
Full-Time, Salary $50,000
Good Life Innovations is seeking a Shared Living Consultant to maintain a caseload of shared‑living settings. Are you ready to make a meaningful difference by providing targeted, responsive support to shared‑living providers and the individuals they serve? If so, read on!
Good Life serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in shared‑living settings. These settings are similar to adult foster care, and the providers are known as Professional Family Teachers (PFT). We strive to redefine direct care through our shared‑living program so the individuals we serve can receive family support in a person‑centered, integrated manner.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Shared Living Consultant
, you will: establish and maintain positive relationships with Professional Family Teachers (PFTs) who welcome adults with disabilities into their homes and provide person‑centered, integrated family support. You will also provide ongoing and consistent support to current and new PFTs. A good candidate will have experience in this field, be able to multitask, and have an upbeat attitude.

- Aiding in the recruitment, establishment, and training of new PFT providers
- Providing an assigned caseload of PFT contractors ongoing and consistent support and training
- Monitoring compliance with Good Life’s contractual expectations and applicable local, state, and federal regulations
- Assisting with development, implementation and evaluation of care plans for individuals served
- Ensuring proper implementation of client lifestyle preferences
- Providing an enriching, engaging, and positive community for providers, individuals, guardians, and professionals

- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human development or a related field, preferred
- One to two years of experience in a position of similar scope, preferred
- Strong computer skills, specifically with Google applications such as Gmail, Drive, Docs, and Sheets
- Flexibility in assigned working hours and location
- Ability to self‑direct without daily supervision
- Ability to work on‑site and travel as necessary to complete job functions; reliable transportation, valid Driver’s License, and safe driving record required
