Salary Range: $14.00 - $18.00 Hourly
Vehicle Delivery & Handover:
- Safely deliver vehicles to customers’ homes, workplaces, or other specified locations.
- Ensure that all vehicle features are explained and that the customer is comfortable with their new purchase.
- Perform quality checks on vehicles prior to delivery, ensuring that they meet dealership standards.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and courtesy while interacting with customers.
- Answer any questions about the vehicle and assist in the setup of features like infotainment, connectivity, or navigation systems.
- Ensure a smooth and positive delivery experience, contributing to customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Coordinate with the sales and inventory teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery schedules.
- Ensure that any necessary paperwork, such as title and registration documents, are completed and submitted.
- Complete and submit necessary paperwork and forms related to the delivery process.
- Report any vehicle damage, discrepancies, or issues to management immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries made, customer feedback, and other related activities.
- Assist in maintaining the dealership’s fleet of delivery vehicles in good working condition.
- Ensure all vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for delivery before departing the dealership.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure the safety of yourself, the vehicle, and others on the road.
- Ensure that deliveries comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Perform pre-delivery vehicle inspections and report any safety concerns.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with basic vehicle functions and technology.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
- Previous experience in a delivery or customer service role preferred, but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods.
- Full-time position with potential for overtime.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as required.
- Occasional travel required for vehicle deliveries.
- Will be working both indoors (dealership) and outdoors (on the road).
