Duration: 2 Weeks (Start: 9/10)
Type: 1099 Contractor

Pay Rate: $49/hr
Overtime: Available if Project Demands Require Additional Hours
Per Diem: None
Completion Bonus: $150/month
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM | 40-50 Hours Per Week

Join a contractor supporting a QTS data center construction project in Fayetteville, GA. This opportunity provides hands‑on safety oversight for the installation of dock equipment and overhead door systems within a large-scale mission-critical construction environment.

The Construction Safety Manager will maintain a strong field presence while working directly with craft personnel, subcontractors, supervision, and project leadership to identify hazards, maintain compliance, and support the safe execution of dock equipment installation, material handling systems, overhead door installation, equipment staging, and associated construction activities.

• OSHA 30 Certification
• Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience

• OSHA 500 Certification
• Data Center Construction Experience
• Material Handling Equipment Installation Experience
• Industrial or Commercial Construction Safety Experience
• CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential

• Provide daily field safety oversight for dock equipment and overhead door installation activities
• Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments
• Monitor equipment installation, material handling operations, and elevated work activities
• Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions
• Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel
• Coordinate safety activities with project management, supervision, and subcontractors
• Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation
• Maintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports
• Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project
