We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Science Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of biology, effective teaching methods, and a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. The Middle School Science Teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive biology lessons, conducting laboratory experiments, and inspiring students to develop a keen interest in the sciences.

This position reports directly to the building principal.

• Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with state and national standards, ensuring students acquire a solid understanding of biological concepts.
• Employ diverse teaching strategies to engage students in the learning process, including lectures, discussions, hands‑on activities, and multimedia presentations.
• Conduct and supervise laboratory experiments to enhance students' practical understanding of biological principles, emphasizing safety protocols and scientific inquiry.
• Evaluate student performance through assessments, quizzes, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support individual growth and improvement.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation, respectful behavior, and collaboration among students.
• Incorporate relevant technology and educational tools to enhance the learning experience and prepare students for the digital age.
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress, upcoming activities and addressing concerns.
• Stay abreast of advancements in biology and education, participating in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching skills and knowledge.
