About the RoleThe Development Program Manager (Q-Systems: Connectivity) leads Q-Systems projects, overseeing design, pre‑construction, and construction activities across multiple campuses. The role interacts daily with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, Commissioning Agents, Vendors, and Data Center Operations staff, ensuring network infrastructure deployments meet facility needs and align with QTS system standards.
Responsibilities- Lead design, pre‑construction, and construction activities for Q-Systems projects.
- Coordinate with QTS network infrastructure and technology teams to meet facility requirements.
- Manage port schedule creation and review project design for compliance with QTS system standards.
- Create and communicate program and project status updates suitable for executive-level reviews.
- Write scopes of work, evaluate proposals, and establish project schedules to ensure on‑time, budget, and quality completion.
- Maintain relationships with key QTS stakeholders and represent Q-Systems interests in OAC and low‑voltage meetings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, or Construction Management (or equivalent experience).
- 8‑10+ years of experience delivering mission‑critical data center facilities and managing technology design and project implementation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint for executive communication and Excel for budgeting.
- US Citizenship required by law due to federal customer contracts.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
