About the Position
Pay Rate: $43.00 - $47.00/Hourly.

Summary:

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NICU is responsible for providing specialized respiratory care to neonates and premature infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The role involves managing ventilators, monitoring respiratory status, assisting in emergency procedures, and collaborating with neonatologists and NICU nurses to ensure optimal respiratory support and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Assess, treat, and monitor neonates with respiratory disorders.

Operate and manage neonatal ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and oxygen therapy equipment.

Assist with intubation, extubation, and surfactant administration.

Monitor arterial blood gases (ABG) and adjust respiratory support accordingly.

Provide airway management including suctioning and airway clearance techniques.

Respond to neonatal emergencies and resuscitation procedures in the NICU and delivery room.

Participate in neonatal resuscitation during high-risk deliveries.

Requirements

1 - Year experience Required,

NICU experience Required,

BLS Certification,

ACLS Certification,

PALS Certification,

NRP Certification,

RRT.
