SummaryThe PT plans and administers prescribed physical therapy treatment programs for patients/residents to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following illness, disease or injury. The Physical Therapist also supervises the physical therapy assistants and aides, and may instruct the clinical portion of training for students participating in PT and PTA programs. Previous long‑term care or skilled nursing home experience is preferred.
