Catering, Event Staff​/ Venue Crew, Food & Beverage

This Is It! Southern Kitchen & BBQ is a leading global event management company which operates more than 100 events a year across 50 countries. We provide the tools, expertise, and support to make events run smoothly so guests have a great time at our events. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Event Staff!

As an Event Staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of our clients' events. This position will be involved with all aspects of the event from setup to tear down, including but not limited to:

• Preparing and running all standard food and beverage menus for each event we host.
• Preparing and running all floral arrangements for each event we host.
• Preparing and running all set-up and break down lists for each event we host.
• Setting up and breaking down of all equipment used in food and beverage events.
• Performing special projects such as special catering orders, set decorating, or other special projects as needed.
• Setting up and breaking down of all equipment used in food and beverage events.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
• Being a Line Server:
  Serving food to the guests as they come through the lines.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at once and meet deadlines.
• Excellent time management skills - must be able to prioritize work assignments.
• Must be able to work with others in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong verbal communication skills - must be able to interact with others at all levels within the organization.
• Must be able to follow instructions and learn new skills efficiently.
• Must be organized with good time management skills.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds without assistance.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Night shift

Salary: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
