Data Center Technician Lead

Our client, a leader in cloud operations and innovation, is seeking a Data Center Technician (DCT) Lead to join their team. As a Data Center Technician Lead, you will be part of the Cloud Operations & Innovation department supporting a dynamic team of technicians. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for technology, which will align successfully with the organization.

• Full Time, ongoing contract

Hours:

M-F 8am to 5pm

Rate: $40/hour

• Lead a team of technicians in hardware deployments, diagnostics, and decommissions.
• Provide expert guidance on data center technology processes and ensure compliance with policies.
• Develop task execution strategies and oversee complex infrastructure changes.
• Mentor and train technicians, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and best practices.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and promote a proactive safety culture within the team.

• High school diploma or equivalent with basic knowledge of computer hardware.
• Experience with hardware repair/fix or rack‑and‑stack.
• 2+ years’ experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
• 1+ years’ experience directing or supervising others.
• Experience working in a production, mission‑critical 24x7x365 data center environment.
