Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data management sector, is seeking a Data Center Technician
- Technical IT 4 to join their team. As a Data Center Technician
- Technical IT 4, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Data Center Operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Fayetteville, GA
Duration: 18 Months on W2
Pay Range: $38 - $41/hour + Benefits & PTO
M-F 8-5p
- Prepare, stage, set up, and perform startups and shutdowns of hardware components such as racks, hard drives, and switches according to detailed instructions and protocols.
- Conduct post-execution quality checks, ensuring proper grounding, staging, labeling, and cabling in compliance with safety standards and deployment guidelines.
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting following standard procedures, quickly identifying issues and replacing faulty components to maintain optimal system performance.
- Decommission hardware for simple upgrades or refreshes, including memory upgrades and OS rebuilds, with minimal supervision.
- Communicate, report, and escalation incidents effectively to the Data Center Technician Leads, ensuring smooth operations and issue resolution.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and related components.
- At least 1 year of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
