Job Title: Controller
Who: A financially driven leader with 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
What: Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and team development.
When: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with occasional extended hours as needed.
Where: On-site in Fayetteville, GA.

Office Environment: Standard office setting with occasional visits to job sites requiring adherence to safety protocols.
Salary: $115,000–$130,000 annually.
Position OverviewThis is a senior finance leadership role responsible for maintaining accurate accounting operations, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, and leading internal controls, reporting, and budgeting processes while mentoring an accounting team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage GL, AP/AR, payroll, taxes, inventory, revenue recognition, and job costing.
- Lead monthly/quarterly/year-end close and deliver GAAP-compliant reporting.
- Coordinate audits and ensure regulatory and tax compliance.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Optimize ERP system (Sage Intacct) for reporting and efficiency.
- Mentor and develop accounting staff to meet organizational goals.
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA/CMA preferred.
- 10+ years of accounting experience with leadership in construction, manufacturing, or services.
- Strong GAAP knowledge, ERP proficiency (Sage Intacct), and process improvement track record.
- Skilled in job costing, long-term contracts, and financial analysis.
- Effective communicator and collaborative leader.
