Locum Assignment Breast Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

30 minutes from Atlanta

This clinic-based locum assignment lets you focus on continuity of care for breast cancer and benign breast disease patients while working with a collaborative surgical team.

• Assignment Dates: March 2026 – September 2026 (possible extension)
• Schedule:
  
  Monday–Friday, 8:00a–4:30p
• Clinic-only setting with no inpatient or call responsibilities
• Manage 10–14 patients per day in a well-established breast surgery clinic
• Care for post‑op and follow‑up patients with breast cancer and benign breast disease
• Daily work includes clinic visits, MyChart messaging, and patient phone calls
• Integrated care model with experienced surgeons and support staff
• EMR:
  Epic
• Travel: Full travel and expenses provided

• Be able to do the job as described.
• MSN or Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Board-certified NP (APRN) or PA-C
• Georgia Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license and DEA license
• Experience in breast surgery, surgical oncology, or related specialty
• Comfortable managing post‑op and follow‑up patients independently
