Locum Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Locum Cardiology APP – Near Atlanta, Georgia / Locum Acute Care NP or Cardiology PA

High-acuity cardiology assignment supporting a busy hospital team just outside Atlanta. This long-term night shift opportunity offers complex patient care, and the chance to work alongside experienced cardiac specialists.

• Start:
  As soon as you're credentialed (anticipated August start)
• Assignment runs through end of 2026 with likely extension
• Schedule: 3 night shifts weekly, 5pm–6am
• Manage 30–40 patients with 8–12 consults per shift
• General cardiology consult coverage focused on floors and ER
• Includes some ICU management and STEMI call coverage
• Work with an established cardiovascular team in a high-volume setting
• Ideal for APPs with critical care or acute cardiac experience
• Travel available for non-local candidates

• Be able to do the job as described.
• Georgia NP or PA license
• BLS and ACLS required and DEA
• Ideal candidate would have critical care experience as an APP, will also consider a general Cardiac APP.
• Comfortable managing floor consults, ER consults, ICU patients, and STEMI response
• Strong cardiology assessment and inpatient management skills
