Description:
The position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery. First-time travelers are not accepted. Skilled care in Antepartum is essential. Candidates must have experience in fetal monitoring and IV therapy/Phlebotomy. Labor and Delivery management expertise is required. Candidates should be knowledgeable in neonatal care within the delivery room. Postpartum care for various patient conditions must be provided, including but not limited to Cesarean sections and postpartum hemorrhage.
Diagnoses managed may include pre-eclampsia, eclampsia, and diabetes. The unit supports deliveries starting from 22 weeks gestation and operates with 12 rooms. Nurse-to-patient ratios are maintained at 1:2. Weekend coverage involves 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule. No on-call shifts are required. Floating may be required within the facility as needed. Full compliance with onboarding requirements is mandatory to start on time.
Travel experience is preferred. Charting system familiarity is preferred.
