About the Role:

Property Management Company in the Atlanta, GA area is looking for a skilled and dependable Building Engineer to join our team. This is a hands‑on role where you'll play a vital part in keeping our managed high rise building running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Salary ranges from $25-28 an hour.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency work orders to minimize downtime and disruption

Monitor and maintain mechanical, electrical, and life safety systems to ensure code compliance

Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and scheduled maintenance

Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and inspection documentation

Identify and report potential safety hazards or building deficiencies to management

Support capital improvement projects and building upgrades as needed

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in building engineering, facilities maintenance, or a related trade

Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general mechanical systems

EPA 608 certification or other relevant trade licenses preferred

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication skills and a customer‑service‑oriented mindset

Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and respond to after‑hours emergencies when needed
